The guy who has a Suitcase ::ID:: by guywiththesuitcase The guy who has a Suitcase ::ID:: by guywiththesuitcase
Ironic that I never actually carry a suit case...

Anywho, thought I needed a new ID and I guess this would fit as a good Persona as well.

Basically the Veteran Desert NCR Ranger with A Servo-Skull head and John Marshton's hat.

... Yeah.

Made in Garrys mod.

Enjoy. :)

the colour palette is pretty boring and the bloom effect(?) looks pretty bad, and the smoke on the ground looks... bad

you should rather use a smoke pic and linear add/screen layer it onto the picture, and if you want to do bloomy effects you should use pretty light colours and linear add/screen them onto the pic, this one really just doesn't do anything, and don't bring up any excuses about how it's your style, because that's a bad excuse

Lol k

Yes, my dust skill is pretty lame. I wanted to give it a sort of "Duststorm" feel to it. Ended up crapping out on it. Might dig up the original file, if I can. Probably can't.

I was going for this colour, though. If you don't enjoy it, that's fine. I won't change that though. I didn't want a lot of exciting colours on this.

The only reason any bloom might have been witnessed is because the camera is stationed to look at the sun. I didn't care for the "bloom" effects as much as I went for the "Sunny" effect.

Also, it's kind of hard to have a Style on Gmod. Epecially for pictures. Most of the Gmodding community's artwork is the same. Only when there's a master editter behind the shot do any of them stand out and even then, there is always another Gmodder who can do the same thing.

(I've never blamed the short-comings of my work on my partial preferences with Gmod. I always question my skill and am always grateful when others give me their opinions and Critiques on my shots.)

Thanks for the tips. :)

and if you want lens dust or whatnot use these [link]
just linear add/Screen them onto your pic

and most of the gmod stuff is mediocre and lame, you don't even have to edit to be good, most of my stuff is without editing.

Nah thanks on those "Dust" effects though.

It would be much easier for me to just do it myself. Besides, none of those things wouldn't fit here.

besides you'd have to be a real artist to do quality dust effects, you'd be better off using sample effects

You underestimate the power of technology. I'll stick with doing it myself and improving my own hand at editting.

Being a traditional artist or a Gmodder has notiong to do with it. People have done great things with Gmod. Most of these great things were paired with great editting.
